Different zones were intentionally matched with specific fragrances. With AllSens’ scent management service, a technician visits three times a year for maintenance and fragrance rotation, guaranteeing consistently high scent quality.
From Scent Challenge to Strategic Asset
While scent was already present at Landal, there was no overarching strategy. In areas like restrooms and the pool, unpleasant odors were hard to control. Additionally, the park aimed to create a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere from the very first moment—one that would reinforce the holiday experience from the start.
By adopting scent marketing as a strategic tool, Landal set out to positively engage guests’ senses. Subtle, fitting aromas in key zones were designed to promote recognition, comfort, and a lasting positive impression.
